As wedding photographer in Washington D.C., we are always amazed by the beauty the city has to offer. The gorgeous cherry blossoms at Tital Basin in late March and early April is just one of them. Caitlin and Ryan live in the city and it is natural for them wanting to do an engagement session in their beloved neighborhoods.
We stopped at two iconic locations at sunrise – Lincoln Memorial and Tital Basin. The weather couldn’t be more perfect on the early morning when we met Caitlin and Ryan at the Lincoln Memorial, and there was a beautiful sunrise over the Washington Monument and Reflecting Pool. And you will see from the photos that they’ve got all the pretty sunlight there was! They were such a cute pair of couple and they were so excited for their photo session. After taking photos at the Lincoln Memorial, we walked over to Tital Basin for a few more cherry blossom portraits. Caitlin and Ryan were big cherry blossom fans so it was important for them to have a few shots of the beautiful cherry blossoms! We had a lot of fun spending time with Caitlin and Ryan at their DC engagement session!
